Já que  algumas semanas atrás eu postei a receita do pão de GUINNESS  aqui no blog, resolvi fazer um post sobre Dublin.

A few weeks ago I  posted the GUINNESS bread recipe on the blog so I decided to make a post about Dublin.

Dublin é a capital da República da Irlanda e foi construída as margens do Rio Liffey. É cercada por mar e montanhas e sua população está estimada em 1.5 milhões. A língua oficial em Dublin é Irlandês, mas obviamente (por fazer parte do Reino Unido) as pessoas também falam inglês.

Dublin is the capital of the Republic of Ireland and was built by the banks of the River Liffey. It is surrounded by sea and mountains and its population is estimated at 1.5 million. The official language is Irish in Dublin, but obviously (to be part of the UK) people also speak English.

Nossa viagem para Dublin foi curta, apenas 3 dias congelantes, mas aproveitamos muito. Andamos, comemos, bebemos, andamos, andamos, comemos.... e assim por diante rsrsrsrs

Our trip to Dublin was short, only 3 (freezing) days, but we enjoyed a lot. We walked, ate, drunk, walked, walked, ate .... and so on :) :)

 É em Dublin que esta localizada a fabrica da cerveja GUINNESS. Fundada em Dezembro de 1759 por Arthur Guinness em um pequeno terreno na James’s Street. 

It is in Dublin that is located the factory of GUINNESS beer. Founded in December 1759 by Arthur Guinness in a small ground in James's Street.

Hoje a GUINNESS é a cerveja stout mais vendida no mundo. Uma media de 10 milhões de pints sao vendidas diariamente. E foi na St James’s Gate que eu aprendi a receita do GUINNESS bread e provei maravilhas da culinaria Irlandesa. 

Today GUINNESS is the most sold stout beer in the world. An average of 10 millions pints are sold daily. And it was in St James's Gate I learned the recipe of GUINNESS bread and tasted the wonders of the Irish culinary.

Dublin é uma cidade encantadora, que me conquistou de verdade. É um dos lugares que tenho muita vontade de voltar para começar uma road trip, comer um belo guizado irlandes (Irish stew) e beber muita GUINNESS (meu marido) e Bulmers para mim :-)  

Dublin is a charming town that stole my heart. It is one of the places I really want to come back to start a road trip, eat a nice Irish stew  and drink plenty of GUINNESS (my husband) and Bulmers for me :-)
